symbologies. Some common ones are the postal barcode used for mail routing, the
Universal Product Codes used in the retail trades, MSI barcodes used in grocery stores, and the Code 3 of 9 symbology
often used for data tracking and inventory. Bars &
Stripes can produce standards compliant barcodes for 11 popular symbologies.

This table shows the characters you are
allowed to use for a particular symbology. If you try to use an invalid
character for your barcode, Bars &
Stripes will display the Change Setup Menu
instead of producing an invalid barcode.
